Otroci plot
Slovenian director Vlado Škafar interviewed ordinary people. Or maybe interviewing is the wrong word; he got them talking. It is a mistake to think that ordinary people say ordinary things. About happiness, for example. About love. Or about death. Things that few people talk about easily, but the people in Škafar's film are. Sometimes he seems to be only watching the sunlight fall on their faces, and his question seems sidelined and without real importance. His interlocutors remain wonderfully calm and quiet, even when they say the most wonderful things. As if the director isn't really listening after all. As if they are dreaming in front of the camera.
