Op de Tast plot

The blind couple Marianne and Ronald Polderman have been living independently on the third floor in Amsterdam for forty years. They are aging in a world that is becoming increasingly crowded and threatening to them. When they are offered an apartment in a protected living environment in the Veluwe, they say goodbye to their familiar environment. In the documentary, they are followed through these changes as they find their way in the world of the sighted.
