Onverklaarbaar? plot

Inexplicably follows the pianist Rick van Hek, who suddenly became paralyzed on one side. The initial diagnosis, a brain haemorrhage, was incorrect. His left arm and leg have normal muscle tone. Performing and touring with his jazz band, of which his wife is the singer, is no longer an option. In conversations with therapists it slowly emerges that one of the causes may be a work conflict. Small improvements can be seen during physiotherapy. The stay in the Center for Unexplained Physical Complaints also has other sides and eventually a conflict arises. The camera patiently registers how Rick van Hek tries to maintain himself with his handicap and tries to live with his limitations.
