Ons Campertje plot

Hans and Wil have been together since their teenage years. They've now been married for 47 years, but since Wil developed dementia, their lives have changed completely. When she no longer recognizes her husband and children, Hans makes a radical choice. He refuses to let his wife with dementia languish in a nursing home and buys a camper van. While Wil gradually fades away, Hans continues to fight for moments of connection: perhaps he'll find her again in Spain, or in the Balkans. As long as they're traveling, there's no final destination.
