Once Brothers plot
"Dreams brought them together. Reality tore them apart."
Documentary about the friendship between Vlade Divac and Drazen Petrovic, two of the first European stars in the NBA. Together they took their national basketball team to new heights. However, after the breakup of Yugoslavia, they found themselves on hostile sides, which caused their relationship to shatter. On June 7, 1993, the unthinkable happens: Petrovic is killed in a traffic accident. Divac is now trying to come to terms with everything that has happened and returns to Croatia for the first time since the civil war, where he also visits Petrovic's mother.
