Olympic Spirit plot

Documentary about the 1980 Winter Olympics held in Lake Placid, located in the Adirondack Mountains in the state of New York in the United States. The 1932 Winter Games were also held in Lake Placid. Vancouver in Canada was the only competitor, but withdrew its candidacy before the vote. However, the organization was overtaken by the facts and could not fully support the large Winter Games. The Games proceeded in a rather chaotic way, so that people soon spoke of "Lake Tragic".
