Notes on Displacement plot

From loaded boats to gigantic tent camps: news images are full of them. But what do we actually see from the experiences of a refugee? Notes on Displacement dives right in, following a family on a grueling journey to Germany. Their fear, disorientation and togetherness are palpable. Palestinian Nadira has been a refugee since she was 12 years old and must now also leave Damascus as an elderly woman. She and her daughter Mona were no longer sure of their lives there. But a safe existence elsewhere is still a long way off.
