Not Carol plot

"NOT CAROL is a feature length documentary examining the harrowing case of Carol Coronado, a devoted mother, who took the lives of her three young daughters while suffering from postpartum mental illness."

When American Carol Coronado kills her three young daughters Sophia, Yazmine and Xenia, she leaves her family and friends in disbelief. Carol was always a caring and loving mother. After examination by psychologists, it appears that she suffers from postpartum psychosis (childbed psychosis). Carol's family and lawyers are interviewed and experts talk about the taboos that still exist around the mental health of young mothers. And painfully, Carol's story makes clear how the American justice system is completely ignoring this major social problem.
