Non Western plot

Seated in their car, a man and a woman talk about the gender roles of the Cheyennes. He's Cheyenne, she's not. They need to talk about it: the two are about to get married. Thaddeus only embraced his heritage later in life and does so with full conviction: he is stricter than the Native American priest, who says that traditions inevitably change under the influence of time. His wife-to-be Nanci, an educated and independent woman, loves him and his culture very much, but that love demands quite a bit of her adaptability.
