Noma plot

Two decades after the end of apartheid, the vast majority of building land is still in the hands of the white population. Noma, a black single mother, has – like the majority of her contemporaries – an insecure and poorly paid job. She lives in a township where she rents a cabin that she shares with several relatives. She dreams of building a future in a place she can call home and joins an activist group. They occupy a new settlement and build a house there, but they have to live with the constant fear of violent evictions.
