NoBody's Perfect plot
The German television company WDR asked Niko von Glasgow to make a personal, original and funny documentary about people born with Thalidomide (Softenon) disabilities. He was not very enthusiastic about the idea, because he went out of his way to pay no attention to his disability. And then it had to be funny too! On the other hand, he had had enough of being stared at all the time. Maybe he needed to make something that people could actually stare at. Something provocative. He elaborated on the idea of asking adults with missing or underdeveloped limbs to pose naked and have themselves photographed for aesthetic, artful photos. The search for models, the photo sessions and the reactions of both the models and the public, resulted in this documentary.
