Nobody's Business plot

At the end of the nineteenth century, the Jewish Benjamin Berliner emigrated from a village in Poland to America to start a new life there. A hundred years later, Alan interviews Benjamin's son, his father Oscar, about his life. Oscar constantly resists Alan's questions; he doesn't find his own life interesting enough for a documentary, nor does he want to know anything about his European ancestors. Alan tries to get through this to learn more about his father and understand why his parents divorced.
