Nesvatbov plot
"The Heart Can’t Be Commanded"
'Nesvatbov' examines the lives of three people, Monika, Jančo and Ďoďo. These belong to the generation of thirty-year-old singles in the Slovakian village of Zemplínske Hámre. The mayor, a retired army general, has improved the village in his 7-year mandate: almost all the houses have been repaired, the gardens are in bloom, there are four grocers and two cafes and the stream is crystal clear. However, there is a persistent problem, the population of the village continues to decline. To get rid of this problem, the mayor decides to organize an evening for all the bachelors from the surrounding villages.
