Nebel plot

A station in thick fog, tracks disappearing into white mists and a figure waiting. A fox appears between the misty wisps, searching for a scent in the wind. And then: noise, flickering, silence. And more fog. Views of nature mingle with brief encounters. People living in their own world: an astronomer who, looking up at the sky, welcomes the idea that we might not be alone in the universe. A musician who hopes to meet the right woman one day. And a stable boy for whom the world has always moved a little too fast. They are all driven by a silent longing for contact, for a sense of not being alone, for a look into the open.
