Nazanin plot

British-Iranian Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe was arrested at Tehran airport in 2016 on suspicion of espionage. She was separated from her 18-month-old daughter and sent to the notorious Evin prison. She was sentenced to five years in prison. In London, her husband discovered that Nazanin’s fate was linked to a British-Iranian arms deal from the 1970s, which went awry after the Shah of Iran was deposed in the 1979 Iranian Revolution.
