My Generation plot

The pioneers of the legendary first Woodstock festival in 1969 also hosted the festivals in 1994 and 1999, but in their complaints about the youth of today they sound like their own parents thirty years ago. While they themselves were looking for higher things like love and peace, in 1994 and 1999 young people are looking for Pepsi and 'fun', or worse: nothing in particular. They're angry, but they don't know why, actress Rosie Perez notes in the film. These views place the current generation X in direct opposition to the resistance generation of the 1960s.
