Mr. Rakowski plot
Sam Rakowski is 91 years old and survived Auschwitz-Birkenau. He has difficulty walking and lives in a luxurious bungalow on the estate of his son Richie, a very successful businessman. The relationship between father and son has never been good. Sam was an aggressive, cold-hearted father and he still is in old age. Richie gives his father the very best care and offers him every opportunity to share in the warmth of his family, but this does not really work. In his mid-50s, he still hasn't figured out the mystery his father is to him.
