Moria Six plot

After the devastating fire that completely destroyed the Moria refugee camp in September 2020, an eerie silence reigned - both on the ground and in the public debate. The inhumane conditions in other camps on Europe's external borders and the numerous pushbacks in the Mediterranean barely came to the attention of the general public. The arrest of six young people accused of arson also caused little stir. However, the circumstances of the investigation and the subsequent criminal trial already raise questions about the approach of the Greek justice system.
