Money Machine plot

On October 1, 2017, Stephen Paddock opened fire on a large crowd from his hotel room in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas. He injured more than 400 people and killed 58 people. It was the largest mass shooting in United States history. A few years later, Las Vegas seems to have forgotten this incident. Since shootings are not good for the image, the Las Vegas money machine went full throttle to push this incident into the background and to make Las Vegas a safe travel destination again. But what exactly happened to that money and how did it lead to a lawsuit against the victims of this tragedy, among other things?
