Moldovan Miracle plot

Until the Norwegian optometrist Hans Bjørn Bakketeig visited Moldova in 2001, it was common to tuck visually impaired children away and leave them to their own devices. He went to live there – he still lives in a hotel room – and has treated more than 10,000 people since then. The camera follows Hans Bjørn and his indestructible assistant Tatjana during office hours and on trips to the countryside, where people are often too poor to buy glasses.
