Mohammad en Jafar plot
They have been friends in war zones for more than 25 years and have survived all confrontations with the Israeli troops: the Palestinian childhood friends Mohammad and Jafar. Director Marcel Goedhart visits the two, once young stone throwers, with an interval of several years. Now he has made a documentary, in which we see how the men fight for survival in Dheisheh refugee camp. In the Israeli-occupied West Bank, they are surrounded by violence and hatred. Mohammad and Jafar see their friends die, their father. They each choose their own path, but their dream remains: to return to Sufla, the village where their grandparents lived until they were expelled by Israel in 1948.
