Moederziel plot

Completely against her husband's wishes, Jeanne Hawinkels, 58 years and 37 years married, left on 1 August 2008 with her best friend for three months from her hometown of Maastricht to Santiago de Compostela. Son Pim decided to film his father's hallways during his mother's absence. Frans is very weak and insecure without his wife, and tells all this very candidly and disarmingly to his son. He clings to his garden and wine shop, but also manages to save himself by regularly inviting himself to dinner with neighbors and friends. And then of course there is also the weekly rehearsal with the brass band. The longer his wife's hike lasts, the more he comes to understand the quality of his marriage and the love for his wife. Until, by an unexpected turn, things are completely different again…
