Michelangelo plot

Documentary about the life and famous work of the Renaissance artist Michelangelo. On the basis of recordings in the Italian countryside and old engravings, his oeuvre is discussed and related to the period and the cultural-historical background. The starting point of the documentary is a sonnet by Vittoria Colonna, a good friend of Michelangelo.
