Michael Mosley vs. the Superbugs plot

More and more bacterial infections are becoming resistant to all kinds of antibiotics. Health experts warn that by 2050, we will be confronted with more than 10 million people worldwide dying each year from drug-resistant bacterial infections. Michael Mosley looks for the causes of this crisis and for solutions, by covering a life-size gelatin doll with bacteria and then releasing antibiotics on it. Michael travels to the US and Poland, where he meets 'resistance fighters', scientists looking for new treatment methods.
