Mentally Al plot

Once one of the most promising comedians of his generation, he has now been sleeping on a girlfriend's couch for five months. No money, no prospects and no fame. 'Mentally Al' follows former 'Star Search' winner Al Lubel as he continues to perform with anticipation in hopes of being rediscovered. He is in a class of his own among his colleagues, but the mainstream public does not understand his unusual humor. Even now in his 60s, Al is still unwilling to compromise and wants to stay true to his individual style, which is not always appreciated.
