Memre Yu plot

There is a neglected family home in Paramaribo. Almost fifty years ago, shortly after its construction, the house was left behind by a Surinamese family who moved to the Netherlands. For good, as it turned out. Today, the house is still a subtle reminder of the family's bond with their homeland.
