Me Broni Ba plot

This lyrical portrait of hair salons in Kumasi, Ghana portrays the legacy of European colonialism in Africa, evoked by a series of vignettes and set against the background of the story of a child who migrated from Ghana to the United States. Set in a funky sound world, the rhythmic collage inspects the roots of Eurocentric beauty images through a tour of Ghanaian salons, while children play with white dolls.
