Matka plot

Over the past ten years, the Finnish/Russian couple Markku Lehmuskallio and Anastasia Lapsui have made several documentaries about indigenous peoples living in the polar regions of Northeastern Europe and Northwestern Siberia. For this documentary, they once again traveled to the northern tundras of Siberia, where the existence of the Nenets in different stages of life, from birth to death, is portrayed.
