Lumpinee plot

Even though they are very young, Thai kickboxing or Muay Thai is in their blood, according to one of the pupils that Uncle Sak has under his care in his boxing school annex shelter. Are they ever afraid? Yes, sometimes, but if you have to fight you don't have time for fear. Besides, what would have happened to them in rural Thailand without Muay Thai? Then they would have been able to help with the rubber tapping at their best. Now, with a bit of luck, they send money home and dream that they can compete for the championship in the large Lumpinee stadium in Bangkok. Moving, hand-held images give an impression of the boxers' daily life, their training, their camaraderie, the fierce fights and the blows they have to take.
