The documentary is about the impact of increasing meat consumption. Since the Second World War, the world population has increased sharply, along with meat consumption. Where meat used to be a privilege, it has now become commonplace. This increased demand led to the need for increased supply. Thus a new industrial logic emerged in the production of meat. They want to produce as much meat as possible in the shortest possible time. With profit as the motive, the production method of meat was thoroughly adapted. This therefore has cultural, economic, political and ethical implications. However, the main influences are exerted on the environment and on human health.
