This documentary shows how Lek Chailert became an elephant rescuer. She grew up in Thailand, in a family that made money with elephants. Lek did not feel good about the treatment of the elephants and decided to save these animals. For this she had to give up a lot: her family broke up with her and over the many years that followed she was threatened several times for her commitment to the Asian elephant.
