Looking for Horses plot

When filmmaker Stefan Pavlović travels to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the country of his family, he makes contact with a local fisherman who lives by a lake. Zdravko is deaf, almost blind and struggles with the aftermath of the war in the former Yugoslavia. Despite the difference in age and background, Pavlović recognizes himself in this withdrawn man; due to stuttering problems, the filmmaker also struggles to express himself in his own way. In the many hours that both men spend in Zdravko's small fishing boat, a close bond is forged.
