Long Strange Trip plot

The Grateful Dead was a messy mess whose unique sound emerged from an eclectic mix of influences such as blue grass, folk ballads, R&B and classical music. The band became an unlikely success story, but it also involved an experience, a religion and a (dysfunctional) family. Because of their unworldly musical bond, they formed a 'group spirit' that they shared with their enthusiastic fans for three decades.
