Lombard plot

Now that Wiesiek's pawnshop has moved away from the center of an unnamed Polish town and moved into a large warehouse in a poor working-class neighbourhood, the store cannot sell its wares on the paving stones. Wiesiek, his equally characteristic partner Jola and their employees try to stimulate sales, but in practice little is sold. There is mainly discussion, smoking and suffering from the cold in the wintry pawn shop.
