Lo Que Dirán plot

Two Muslim teenage girls in Barcelona make their discussion about whether or not to wear a headscarf the subject of their final paper for school. It is personal, says Aisha from Pakistan, who has opted for it. It is restrictive, thinks Ahlam, who has Moroccan parents and does not feel called to wear a headscarf. In the intimacy of their bedroom, where they make up each other, look up quotes in the Quran or write their paper, the friends have conversations in their common language in Spanish about beliefs, family and make-up.
