Lida plot

A portrait of 81-year-old Swedish Lida, living in a Ukrainian place where time seems to have stood still. She is the last to speak Old Swedish in a disappearing Swedish colony located in eastern Ukraine. The Second World War has left deep marks on her memory and life, but she continues to live fully, even though she lives in a retirement home and has not seen her sister and son in half a century. Lida, however, has fallen for a Russian.
