Leben in Wittstock plot

Wittstock an der Dosse is located in the German state of Mark Brandenburg, about 90 kilometers from Berlin. Volker Koepp has visited the city several times since 1974 to investigate the lives of women workers in the textile industry. He interviewed them about their work, leisure, thoughts and feelings. Three of them were questioned repeatedly for a lengthy survey.
