British fashion designer Alexander McQueen committed suicide in 2010 at the age of 40. McQueen, son of a taxi driver, was considered an artistic visionary and provocateur par excellence. He struggled all his life with the temptations of drugs and alcohol. Director Loïc Prigent takes a closer look at McQueen's last three fashion collections and paints a picture of an exceptional but dark talent.
