The Chinese concert pianist Lang Lang has been regarded as an international superstar for at least ten years. And although the critics are divided about Lang Lang's qualities as a concert pianist, everyone agrees that Lang Lang - with his unbridled enthusiasm and involvement - is pre-eminently the one who knows how to instill a love for classical music in children and young people. The joy of playing (and listening to) classical music is what Lang Lang wants to convey to the young people of today. In the documentary we see how Lang Lang gives concerts and masterclasses all over the world, with surprising results especially in his home country China. Millions of Chinese children and young people have developed a passionate love for Western classical music.
