Landen plot

An essay about mainly Lebanon, but also about Germany, about coastlines and plants such as the short-haired samphire, the milk thistle, the angel's trumpet and the red lamprey. About adapting and transforming, and about resistance, about desired and feared changes, the city of Beirut and its unexpected revelations, modernism and the passing of time. And of course about the hopes and fears of its inhabitants, many of whom suspect that their future lies on the other side of the sea, even if they do not want to leave.
