Lads et Jockeys plot

France, September 2006. All children are going back to school. In Chantilly, about thirty boys and girls aged fourteen enter the boarding school "Le Moulin à Vent", a school for future lads and jockeys. Three years later the best will be jockeys, the others will have learned the profession of lad. The film follows the students of the first year: Steve, Flavien and Florian. All three are teenagers, with their first sweethearts, their mobile phone and MP3 player and they dream of wealth and success. However, this dream is not for everyone. Florian is a future crack jockey in his head and has the talent for it. Steve, who is terrified on a horse, is likely to be a good lad. Flavien feels quite insecure and wonders about his future... At the end of the school year, we will follow the first competition of a student of the school and thus his entry into the world of jockeys.
