Laatste Missie plot

In the spring of 2008, the monastery of the Missionaries of Scheut near Vught in Brabant was closed. This marked the end of an institution where missionaries have been trained for more than a century to be sent out all over the world, to preach the Catholic faith in faraway places. The filmmaker portrayed the missionaries with their special life stories and witnessed daily life in a rapidly dying congregation.
