La Strada dei Samouni plot
In the outskirts of Gaza, a small community of farmers, the Samouni family, is preparing to celebrate a wedding. It will be the first celebration since the last war. Amal, Fuad, their brothers and cousins have lost their parents, their homes and their olive trees. The neighborhood where they live is under reconstruction. As they replant trees, they face their most difficult task: rebuilding their own memories. Through the memories of these young survivors, 'Samouni Road' presents a portrait of a family before, during and after the tragic event that changed their lives forever.
