In this documentary by Poirier, the cameras follow a Citroën-sponsored journey through Africa, from Algeria to Kenya, the Cape of Good Hope to Madagascar. Through this tour André Citroën wanted to demonstrate the power of his half-track vehicles. With this registration, Poirier links the cinematographic revolution and the rise of the automobile with the renewed French civilizational mission.
