La Couleur du Sacrifice plot

La Couleur du Sacrifice shows the lives of former soldiers from present-day Morocco and Algaria. They were recruited to serve in the French army during World War II and played a crucial role during the liberation. Unlike their French brothers-in-arms, they received, at best and on the condition that they remain in France, a military pension of about fifty euros a month. They were forced to live far from their families, often in appalling conditions. Despite the contempt and injustice they face, these men teach us a beautiful life lesson.
