KPL 701112078 plot

A film crew followed 23-year-old blue helmet Arjen van Sante before and after his stay in the Bosnian province of Sebrenica. During Van Sante's six-month absence, the filmmakers maintained close contact with his family and girlfriend in the Netherlands. The young soldier described his experiences in a diary and filmed his surroundings with an 8mm camera.
