KoranKinder plot

A madrassa is an Islamic school in Bangladesh. The education system is determined by religion. In abject poverty, early childhood students memorized more than 6,000 verses of the Qur'an in Arabic for twelve hours a day for over two years. A language that they do not understand, and that is partly literally used. Childhood is sacrificed for the security of 'Hafiz'; that means having mastered all the Koran verses already after two years a job, and at the same time a safe place in paradise.
