Kippenhuis plot

Eli Idsart (17) has long wondered what it would be like to slaughter your own meat. So he decides to take in two floppy chickens. In the two weeks that the filmmaker keeps the chickens Caput and Navia in his room, he tries to build an intense bond with them. He does this by eating with them, taking them outside and playing with them. What's it like to keep animals that you know you have to kill at least one to complete your experiment? While grappling with this question, he opens up the conversation about the livestock industry with friends, a poultry farmer, an angry woman and the Animal Protection.
