Kim Swims plot

Open water swimmer Kim Chambers tries to make her biggest dream come true. She wants to be the first woman to swim alone from the Farallon Islands to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. This 48 km stretch of water is notorious for its extremely low temperatures, swirling currents and huge sharks. Through footage of the preparations, interviews with Kim and those involved and the journey itself, the film shows what leads her to overcome her fears, follow her passion and achieve her highest goal, while inspiring others to do the same.
