Dniuka plot

With a sense of humour, atmosphere and perspective, the film makers portray the friendly, yet also meager existence of Victor and Antonina Korzun. The elderly couple lives somewhere in the Belarusian countryside, together with a bedridden roommate and animals of all sorts. Everyone has their own routine: Victor curses everything and everyone and the horse Natasha in particular, takes care of his cows, puts a card and supports the vodka industry. His wife Antonina spins, washes, scrubs, cooks, feeds the chickens and baby goats and watches her soap opera on television every day at four o'clock.
